Any fashion-forward person will tell you that the accessories are just as important as the clothes themselves. A belt, a watch, a scarf, a particular purse, a specific set of cufflinks, or those just right sunglasses can turn a set of clothes into an outfit and a look to remember. Clothes are not the only things that can be bettered by accessories, however.
Accessories are an important part of any collection, whether it is clothing, baseball cards, postage stamps, action figure collectibles, or even wine. Yes, I said it. Wine. A wine bottle on its own is just a wine bottle, whether it is on a dining table or passing from a guest to a host when arriving for a dinner party. But what if the wine is featured in a unique wine stand? What if it is presented in an elegant wine box? And what if you want to travel with a few wine bottles? You don’t want the bottles to move around too much and you don’t want them to bump into each other, and while it may be fun to find hidden bottles of wine in between the clothes in your luggage, it would be much more convenient to have a specific carrier or tote bag. So is this blog post for people who are short-selling their house, or is it for people who are waiting around to buy a house on a short sale? Actually, it’s both. There is a lot of waiting around during a short-sale on both ends of the process. Short sales are not always a done deal, because you never know what the bank is going to decide. If you’re planning on packing or storing furniture, these tips can help. Read the rest »
One of the best ways to celebrate Easter with kids is to have them participate in an Easter egg hunt. Some people use real colored eggs, in Easter tradition, while others use plastic eggs with goodies, like chocolate eggs or marshmallow Peeps, inside. But either way, parents often go out of their way to hold fun annual egg hunts for their children.
One year they may hide the eggs throughout the house, another in the front yard, another in the backyard, yet another at the park, and one year they may even get the whole block involved and hide Easter eggs among the neighbors’ yards. Read the rest »
