Halloween is a holiday where adults are allowed to act like kids. That’s probably why October 31st is such a popular day for all ages. All Hallows’ Eve is less than a week away and you’ve probably already decorated your house and lawn and decided what this year’s costume will be. You’ve stocked up on candy for trick-or-treaters and picked what scary movie you plan to watch. But when November 1st rolls around, it’s time to toss the pumpkins in the trash and take down the skeleton and fake cobwebs.
The problem then becomes what to do with Halloween costumes and decorations until next year. After all, you’ve got Thanksgiving and Christmas or Hanukkah approaching in the next couple months.
You may be tempted to store your Halloween gear in your attic, but as we all know, attics tend to be haunted.
A better idea would be to rent a storage unit for all your holiday clothing and decorations. It doesn’t have to be big to be useful. You can swap out Halloween paraphernalia for Christmas or Hanukkah decorations, and then do the same for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Passover, or any other day circled on the calendar.
