The Raiders, Chargers, and 49ers did not even make the playoffs this year, but that does not mean that you can’t have a great Super Bowl Party right in Southern California. Even your friends who don’t love football will expect to be invited somewhere for the Super Bowl just to see the commercials. It’s a cherished American tradition. So, here are a few helpful tips to make sure your party goes off without a hitch.
Manage the size of your party
You may be tempted to invite everyone you know over for the game. While it may seem like fun to have a huge crowd in your living room, you are better off keeping your party to a manageable size.
Plan your food to fit your skills
There are a few easy dishes you can make and prepare that do not take hours in the kitchen. After you buy chips, salsa and dip, you might want to consider some hot appetizers that are pre-made. There are plenty of great options in the freezer section that you only have to pop in the oven before the game. For the main course, burgers, hot dogs, and bratwurst don’t take long to prepare on the barbeque. If you don’t have a grill, chili and sandwiches or pizza are a great way to feed a crowd. Don’t forget that your friends may want to bring their favorite dish, so you don’t have to buy everything.
Bring in the chairs
Your guests may not stick around if there isn’t a comfortable place for them to sit. You can invest in some large pillows and beanbags or move furniture from other rooms into the room with the TV.
Last but not least, please don’t let your friends drive home drunk. If your friends are drinking right until the end of the game, they should not get behind the wheel. Buzzed driving is drunk driving and it only takes a moment of poor decision making for a tragic accident to occur.
All of us at STORBOX hope you have a safe and enjoyable Super Bowl Sunday!
