When summer crept in, you knew the greatest of days were ahead of you. But the night of June 21st, all your friends and family began to call and text you. You know what they wanted – to have some fun on your boat this summer. All your loved ones wanting to spend time with you? What could go wrong?
Your summer turned into an endless nightmare. As a “thank-you,” your boat guests brought you free bottles of the finest champagnes. They paired so well with the tasty hors d’oeuvres that other guests brought. It was the absolute worst.
Each and every day, the sun shone brighter and brighter. Every morning was a glimmering promise of another restful day, full of snacking and napping on your boat. But too much sleep can be bad, after all. You really were suffering. Truly, too much relaxation can take a toll on the spirit.
The deck of your boat provided the perfect sunning and tanning spot – almost too perfect. There was just enough shade so you didn’t turn into a blazing red lobster; instead, you looked like an editorial model. But a sad model, because your summer totally blows.
Knocking back oysters alone on your boat, you could catch a glimpse of the crowded beach from afar. It looked as if people were only a few centimeters from each other, like they could feel each other’s sweat pulsating off their skin. They were forced to listen to the crazy, weird music that their sand-neighbors were playing loudly, while kids ran around throwing buckets of water every which way.
Meanwhile, you miserably sat on your boat alone, enjoying the cool breeze as your trendy maritime outfit glistened in the sun. You sadly sipped your champagne and then turned on your stomach, so your back could get some Vitamin D. Your “Total Relaxation” playlist played uninterrupted as the ocean water symphonized in beautiful cadence. You wanted it to end; but alas, the cruel summer went on, much to your dismay. Darn you, fate!
But finally, it’s Labor Day – one of the most important days of the year. Why? Well, because Summer Dread 2018 is officially over! Now, you must figure out how to end it once for all….Where will you store your monstrosity of a beautiful boat and all those free bottles of wine?
Go to StorBox, where you can store your wine in our state-of-the art Wine Grotto. There’s even room for you boat in one of our vehicle storage units! Call (626) 407-3439 for details.
